What’s up, I’m Ryan. I have a master’s in computer science and work as a programmer, and in my free time I work on personal coding projects, play video games, and make music. I’ll be posting a bit about all of those things here.

Programmer

I started programming about 10 years ago, which inspired to me pursue computer science in higher education and enter the workforce as a programmer. I’m most comfortable with Python and C#, but have dabbled also with C++, Java, HTML/CSS/JS, and most recently Lua. I’m currently working as an Analyst/Web Developer for a startup.

Lately I’ve been doing a lot of work on a few Garry’s Mod addons, which you can read a bit about here.

Gamer

I’ve been playing video games since I was a kid, and I still play them today. My first console was the Gamecube, though I moved through various Nintendo and other consoles throughout my childhood and adolescence. Now I’m primarily a PC gamer. Though I’m a big fan of classic AAA RPG’s (Fallout, Elder Scrolls, etc.), to my dismay my most played games are Garry’s Mod and CS:GO. For both of them, I’ve spent hundreds to thousands of hours playing on community servers, as well as moderating and managing gaming communities.

I’m currently a Moderator on the TTT server for Dinkleberg’s Gmod Community.

Musician

I’ve been playing trumpet for over 10 years, playing in multiple ensembles throughout middle school, high school, and college, jazz band and pep band probably being the ones I enjoyed the most. I’ve also dabbled on the piano for quite a while, and most recently have been recording a variety of music with FL Studio.
